"Leap For Joy" 21st July 2013

As the summer holidays had started (schools had more or less broken up) we did not have many.  Two actually, but we still had a great time together.

As our Minister was leading the service, we had an action song; "Do you have an appetite".  We joined in with the verse actions along with some the the congregation.  As for the chorus, it was just the Minister, me and the two young people.

However, without knowing it, the song fitted in well with our theme.

Luke 6: 23 talks about "leaping for joy" as our reward is greater in heaven.  To help the young people remember it, they jumped on a trampoline and recited the passage.

After a break for drinks and biscuits, we all started painting lots of people leaping for joy.
